Ok, no recommendations here, I don't want Patrick to get a big head or anything, I mean, you know.. bigger than... well..
But it might be fun to listen to DaddyQuake's first new podcast (DaddyQuake being Patrick and Matt. I mean, it might be funny. You know, there might even be fun banter and a a bit of libelous slander that could be juicy. I mean, you know, someone might like it if they actually listened to it. Not saying that I did, just.. you know.. that if I did, I might have found it humorous and fun. Just saying
And you'll get insight into what it means to be a gay father. Or maybe it was insight into being a gay father of an adopted child. Ok, so maybe a GF of an AC living in SF, well.. maybe a GF with AC in SF who happens to be a lawyer or real estate broker.. ok.. maybe the insight will really be what it is like to be a GF an AC living in SF who is a JD or a REB and one is moving to a new house. Well, might be insight into something I'm sure.
(it is a fun listen, just don't tell Patrick or Matt)
Quick.. word association: Real Estate Broker..... big frickin fees
another.. Lawyer....... (sorry, can't put that word on the blog... kidding, some of my best friends are lawyers, seriously)

Just wait until you do a guest segment! It's going to be awesome.
Seriously, though - we are going to try to be informative as well as silly. Each week we're going to talk about our experiences with different aspects of adoption and parenting as gay dads. But since we both went the same adoption route with the same agency, we want to have guest dads come in and talk about their experiences.
So when do you get back? We tape on Friday evenings. :-)
P.S. Our voice comment line is 1-206-666-DQDQ. If you call and leave a message, I bet you'll make the cut for tonight's show!

Yeah, seriously, it was a great 'listen' (heard the first half, have to get to the second half today :)... you guys are off to a good start.

When just out for a walk with Nathan, I had an epiphany - you're our official commentator on all things political relating to gay families.
We'll patch you in via Skype every week or two and you can update everyone on the latest as it relates to our rights as families, whether it be assaults on gay adoption or marriage restrictions.
You're much, much more up on this than we are - we keep our heads in the sand - so you'd be the perfect contributor!
What do you say?
P.S. I still want an on-air interview on your adoption journey, too.

Re: lawyers
There's an amusing song by two comedians from Montreal which my fiance has been humming since being admitted to law school. It's called "When lawyers take Viagra they get taller"...
(hm, I hope your comment-screening doesn't deleted my comment because of that keyword...)
