Daddy, Papa and Me

As reported at Biggaypicture and RepublicofT, the Bush administration figured out a way to minimize our impact at the egg roll. Unlike almost every other time, they reserved the morning session (when Laura Bush is there and there are opening cermomonies and press) for invited guests (volunteers for YWCA, Big Brothers, etc). They didn't tell anyone, they just did it. So when the people who in line all Friday night got their tickets Saturday morning, they found it they weren't for the morning like they've been for decades, nope, they were for afternoon. So the GLBT families got theirs for 12 noon, long after the politicians and much of the press have left. Smart on their part I guess. But we are going anyway, and I have a sneaking suspicion there will be press there anyway :D. So, anyway, we are getting ready as I write this. I'll write a report this afternoon after the festivities.
