Haggard is in for even more

Haggard has said that in three weeks he's been totally cured. Well, after his own church's report, DenverPost.com - Flags in Haggard's fall, it looked like his 'long struggle' has been years in the making and many people knew about it, or had some inkling:

"We have verified the reality of that struggle through numerous individuals who reported to us firsthand knowledge of everything from sordid conversation to overt suggestions to improper activities to improper relationships," Stockstill said. "These findings established a pattern of behavior that culminated in the final relationship in which Ted was, as a matter of grace, caught."

This makes the "3 week change to complete heterosexuality" even that more dubious. Color me skeptical, but I believe Haggard and his 'therapists', by not coming to grips with the depth of his sexuality are doing him, his family and everyone else he has to deal with a huge disservice.

By again denying something that has been a deep part of his life for so long with a three-week "cure," they have only exacerbated the problem

This statement from their church enquiry on his past is predicting his future.

More of the same.

I really feel sorry for his family. These church "therapists" and pastors are causing yet more pain.
