haha! not obsolete for me:
"adjusting rabbit ears on tv", "adjusting tracking on a vcr", "analogue radion listening and tuning in", "balancing the tonearm on a turntable", (and lots of people build a computer from individual components, and build log cabins, just not me). Definitely "calculate sales tax", practice "calligraphy" (Learning mandarin!), use a "crowquill pen" as my primary professional instrument (illustration), anyone who fishes "cleans fish"... hahaha re "common sense" being obsolete. The community car share cars I use all have "crank up and down car-windows", and cursive handwriting? used daily... My most recently darned socks were sent to me last week from my mother (yay! nice socks, one hole). Weird re "driving a car" and "driving a manual transmission" (my fave). Extensions in OS9? I use it still for my scanner cuz they don't make a driver for OSX.
OK, I'm only up to E, and I have that many... I still have a 35mm camera, use the physical yellow pages, and grow "medicinal and culinary herbs"..
these people are nutty! ;D
(one of the funnier ones is "remembering passwords"... in this computer age, i have more passwords to remember than thieves of the past!)
thanks for the link!
