The other gay mormon fathers where one is a biologist

This same-sex couple (like us) with adopted kids (like us) living in Utah (like we used to) are former Mormons (like us) and one is a biologist (like us).

Yikes, it's the twilight zone :D.

Haha, how funny! Guy wrote on our blog and I decided to answer his question on your blog, about when we're coming to visit. LeRand has been working on turning in his application for the Monterey Institute of Int'l Studies and so far has turned in the testing portion, to which they positively replied after reviewing it (you'll have to ask him what they said exactly, although he'll probably be modest and just say they kinda thought he did well). He also had a Monterey professor come to his translation/interpretation class for a week, and the professor, a former BYU student, mentioned the reviewers had pulled him in to listen to LeRand's audio portion of the application. He mentioned LeRand had managed to impress a few people. Sooo, unless he permanently loses his voice and has both hands chopped off I'd say odds are pretty good that we'll be moving out there around July of next year. Even then I think he'd learn to write with his feet so he could still translate, and they couldn't discriminate against him anyway, right? That means he'll likely be coming to visit the campus before we move out there, and also attempt to get things in order for our big move. We'll likely be there about 2 years. So, although our trip to San Fran may be a bit belated, we're happy to trade one trip now for many trips in a little over a year. :) Wish Emma a happy birthday for us! We love and miss you all!
