I still want this car

We are number 900 and something in line for the Aptera, I still lust over this car. With the look and at 120-300 mpg (depending on if you plug it in or not) and considering gas here is now $4.20/gallon, this is a beautiful car. And yes Mom, we'll sell our slot in line, for a price... ;)

there is something rather adorable when you make any of these tech-lusting posts... lol, guess it's because it shows the inner gadget/engineering-geek in you!

but i must say that i went to their (well-written ! and personable ! ) website, and man, i can understand your lust. i'm not even into cars but /boy/ doesn't this thing scream out "innovative!" and "desiring for positive change!".

and plus ... well, let's face it.
aesthetically, that car is SEXY. who needs red sports cars when you have something that looks like it came from a science fiction film..?

That is a crazy contraption. Where can you buy them? 120-300MPG WOW. My car gets 24.5 on a good day and I drive about 80 miles a day at 3.98a gallon. You do the MATH. Im broke...lol...
I wanted to share with you the new site over at www.justdaddys.net. Its a place where fathers new and old, veteran and novice can come and trade tips, tricks, or just shoot the breeze. We are a growing community right now and I would love to have someone with your knowledge and experience get involved in on the ground floor and be a resource and a community leader. Thank you for your time and I hope to see you over at the boards.

Thanks,
Jason
